This is not a sun protection item but rather a melanin inducing product. It starts working on your skin before you’ve even seen the sunshine. Interesting, right? Please continue to wear a high SPF after application of this lotion. So can you really spend less time in the sun & still look sunkissed as ever? I have to put this to the test.

I've seen The Fox Tan around before but never took too much notice of the brand in the sense of 'yeah right, this is going to work'. I used to catch the sun quite well when I was younger then in my 20s, it was forgetta ‘bout it, as it had become so hard to catch the sun. One of my best friends recommended to me last week to try The Fox Tan, as she had the Rapid Caramel Kiss & told me to buy it.

How to use The Fox Tan Rapid Accelerator

Unfortunately, Caramel Kiss seems to be as hard to get hold of as a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow and this bottle was the last one left, so I snapped it up. As we were going to be having a few good days of sun - perfect opportunity to try it. The key ingredients within this are FoxComplex®, Almond Oil, Carrot Root Extract, Cocoa Seed Butter & Jojoba Oil. FoxComplex is their exclusive ingredient that helps to start building your natural melanin levels. As I was spending time in the pool a water-resistant sunscreen was needed, all I can say is; this stuff works! WOW, I was so shocked at how well this gives an even overall tan but after one day – I stayed out of the sun & if I was out there, I would be under the shade and wearing a cap. Keeping hydrated and making sure that my skin is moisturised to prevent any dryness. I'd say this works well for an hour each side of the body if you're sunbathing but do keep reapplying the sunscreen as you normally would.

I really hope this isn't the end of our sunny days in the UK as I want to try their Rapid Bronzing Balm & Rapid Caramel Kiss and continue to get my glow on. Please remember this does not contain SPF, so make sure to use your sunscreen after the application of The Fox Tan products - we aren't out here trying to fry our skin. Be safe!
