Of course it's not purely just grapeseed oil (which is the majority in the ingredients being first on the list) it also contains Isopropyl Palmitate which is derived from coconut oil - it's a thickening agent, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate: an emulsifier, it can penetrate healthy skin but minimally. Phenoxyethanol: safe & effective preservative. BHT, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil: Sunflower Seed Oil, Isopropyl Myristate: thickening & emollient agent, Retinyl Palmitate: Combination of retinol (pure vitamin A) and palmitic acid (antioxidant) & Tocopheryl Acetate: Vitamin E.
That being said, I simply just pour some into the palm of my hand and apply on a dry face and massage and work the eye makeup off before wiping it off with a warm cloth. The face isn't left greasy and it effectively removes make-up. But as I don't always wear makeup I do find oil based cleansers are good to just remove daily dirt and grime regardless. It's always my choice, I think it's the emulsifier within the product I wasn't too keen on, didn't irritate me but I just didn't like the feel. During my skincare routine I generally do the korean 2 step cleansing routine oil based & foam based.
I've not used facial wipes in such a long time because they felt uncomfortable on the skin, very drying and I have used Simple wipes before but OMG, this new and improved facial wipes - I will be purchasing when they're finished. The above packaging is limited edition unfortunately, must be honest I love the variety and pink design. I'm extremely pleased with how soft and effective they were. They removed a face of make-up, foundation, concealer, bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, liquid lipstick..all with ease. No tugging or pulling at the eyes - I was so shocked. These are going to be a bag staple now without a doubt. If you've not tried the new and improved Simple wipes, please do without disappointment.
