The Body Shop Down To Earth Palettes.
The Body Shop have released palettes inspired by the Earth's richest natural colours and enriched with babassu & sesame oils. The caring formula is meant to prevent creasing and a long-lasting finish. Highly pigmented shades that are buildable & blendable. These can be used wet & dry for a more intense look. Preferring to only do that with shimmery formulas than mattes because I find it can ruin the pan shade unless I rub off the wet patch with my finger but to show the differences I did it for all regardless. Dry & wet swatches are below, first shade is dry and second is wet, you can see the differences in the pigmentation, even the matte shades.
These palettes come in a sleek, shiny black casing with a large mirror, each shadow pan contains 2.2g of product. The quads have a how to guide on the wallet it slides out of to help anyone with ideas on how to get the most out of the palette.

The Smoky Brown quad, Down To Earth – 02
This neutral brown palette didn't wow me, because I do have quite a lot of palettes similar but I do like the shade Peru Clay, it's a good natural colour for a transition or lid and mixing it with Idaho Jasper gives it a nice smoky look overall.
The Smoky Grey quad, Down To Earth – 03
India Rose Quartz, makes a good shades for an inner corner pop, on the fence about Atlas Rhassoul when dry due to how chalky it appeared but wet it was more pigmented. I've not done a smoky eye with greys in quite awhile so I'm looking forward to trying that out.
Glow Palette
Upon looking at this palette, it looked more pigmented which I was correct about. It had more shimmer shades; Provence Ochre, Bengal Granite & Kilimanjaro Rock are some of my favourites but really these all work well and apply beautifully in the swatches. The swatches for Glow were applied over NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk. While the quads were applied just wet & dry. I think these are great value for money the price puts it in the mid-high end range but so far I'd say they were worth it being that they're cruelty free, vegan, no added parabens, no mineral oil, no petrolatum and no carmine. Overall the biggest test is going to be on the eye more than the arm swatches because it could apply a lot more different, staying power etc. So I'll be doing looks with these ASAP!
