I'm part of the Navy. You know me, it's a known fact. When I first heard about the launch of Fenty Beauty, I was and have continuously been all over the brand. I'm in love with the selection of products, the quality, the brands' ethos, that Fenty Beauty has become known for. Rhianna shook up the beauty world more and had brands paying attention and taking heed. It's mind-blowing that it took until 2017.
Reading the email asking if I'd like to try some of Fenty Beauty's hero products, I quit my job - not officially - as I sat at lunch & said, I've been manifesting this. If there's been a brand I've wanted to work with since its inception, it's been Fenty Beauty. There were items sent I've not tried. Fenty Skin was included, I'm going to review those in a separate post.
The selection I was kindly sent, really complimented each other and also other items I already had:

Killawatt - Mo'hunny / Afternoon Snack*

I have the first 2 eyeshadow palettes, Fenty Beauty released 'Galaxy' &s; 'Moroccan Spice', both of which were pigmented, so I had high expectations for these. 6 shadows, 3 matte and 3 shimmers, in honesty they're not as pigmented as the previous shadows but they're buildable in coverage, as the mattes are soft and silky and the shimmers are quite emollient but that's exactly the texture I'm used to with the brands shadows. I used the shade 'bottle service' on my lower lash line to compliment the sweep of Sangria Sunset from the killawatt foils on my lids.
My first FB highlighter was the ever so popular Trophey Wife & the consistency, pigmentation and formulation has not changed - one of the best highlighters on the market. I used a small amount of Afternoon Snack, a soft bronzed champagne sheen on my noise tip and bridge as I wanted a soft look. If there's anything you should pick up from FB, it's the Killawatt range. If you want a baby glow or a glow to the God's, she's got you covered. It's smooth, creamy and never let's you down.
WTF! This cream blush is ridiculous, and I'm saying this in a positive way. FELL IN LOVE. It's finding the application that's for you with these fingers or brush, using a stippling brush I got a wash of colour, fingers gave that intense POP. I definitely think you get what you see in terms of colour and intensity. I did use this on their Pro Filtr' matte foundation, I've not used it with the Eaze Blur as of yet to see how it'll work on another finish.
I do like a variation with a lip finish, but there's something about a gloss that hits the lips curves and accentuates & shock horror, these are in my top favs. Over the Summer, I did view these in Harvey Nichols, I'm always side-eyeing a plumper but you know what - grab one. I've since got it in Fenty Glow too. You do get a little tingling with the 'plump job complex' that has a blend of ingredients designed to help lips get that thick pout alongside the conditioning shea butter and vitamin E that'll lock in moisture.
This can be used before, during and after make-up application, even during the day if you feel your skin may need it. A fine mist (my fav) with an uplifting rose scent, it doesn't leave me looking 'wet' but it gives a nice dewy complexion as most times I don't like my make-up to look too matte, I want a flawless complexion but a skin like one
