My thing is, what's the harm in trying. My hair thrives off oil, it's needed and anything that is going to let my hair stay lightweight, have a shine and look healthy, yeah ok - the price is a little steep (retails at around £43.00 - £44.50) but it's either DDGH or a lot of tears.
The first couple of ingredients are silicones, cyclopentasiloxane an emollient, lightweight silicone that is silky & slippery. Dimethiconol helps condition unhealthy, damaged hair to look more silky and smooth and also it's ability to help problems such as split ends. Other ingredients include Corn Germ Oil which is rich in Vitamin E. Argan Oil aka the liquid gold of Morrocco, restore strength to the hair and protects it from external aggressors. Marula oil enriched in vitamins C and D, strengthens hair follicles to help prevent breakage, it penetrates the scalp to strengthen hair follicles from inside. Camellia Oil strengthens hair, replenishes moisture, smooths hair cuticles while making hair shiny and prevents split ends. Pracaxi seed oil hydrates dry hair, the fatty acids help dry, curly or coarse hair types. Amla Oil stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss.
With all that this oil has going on - it can't fail, right? Right. I'm obsessed with it. I wash and section my hair after having it up in my microfibre turban and while it's still damp after I used the Olaplex no.6 (and depending if I'm needing the Olaplex no.7) I'll then use a small pump of this on each section and from mid lengths to the ends - really making sure my ends are coated not heavily saturated in this oil and continue to blow dry and I can smell the fragrant of the oil as I'm doing my hair. My hair feels soft, light and manageable. After a couple of days of wearing it in my curated waves I will take a pump into my palms, rub it together and comb through my hair. If there is an oil to try at least once in your lifetime - it is this one!
OK now this sounds like a great oil - I have got into use oils more both for my face and hair and really find they make a difference, when my current hair oil runs out I'll have to give this one a try.
