Beauty Crowd Haul.

First time I was introduced to the website Beauty Crowd was last year when I was sent the Yoso brand items which you can read here. I decided to do a little buy the other week as Beauty Crowd stock brands that we've seen consistently on American blogs and the prices were more than reasonable. It was like taking a trip into Boots.

I've wanted to try Milani for quite a while now and I decided to try their baked blush first, Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, one of the most popular shades! To me this can be used as a highlighter as well as a blush, I think the finish is nicely reflective for that task as it contains very small specks of gold running through it.
Although with a light hand and sweep it could finish off on the cheeks if preferred. A gorgeous peach - coral tone with a slight pink undertone. I believe this is one of the most popular blushes due to the fact it can flatter a range of skin tones.

LA Girl first came to my attention with their concealers that the majority of people adore but their LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints have been compared to being dupes for the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks, all these thick, highly pigmented palm sized lip products just remind me of a copy of the last company that's released one, Sleek MakeUP (pout paints), OCC (lip tars), these products to me are ideal for when you want to create a new and unique lip colour.

L.A Girl Says: Making their much anticipated debut, Glazed Lip Paints give the intensely pigmented appearance of a lipstick, with the ease and glossy finish of a lipgloss. Glazed collection includes 18 of the most sought-after, trendsetting colors this season while providing long lasting, hyper glossy, ultra rich color to lips. Extreme bright colors cool and nourish lips with vitamin E and peppermint oil.
I decided on these two colours Whimsical & Elude. Whimsical is an orchid shade with a blue undertone while Elude is a nude peach with a beigey undertone. When squeezed out I don't get any gushing or splatting out, it feels pretty controlled as the liquid pours out the tip. I apply these with a lip brush for best application. They don't feel sticky or heavy. They give a nice sheen which I would put down to the Vitamin E and the peppermint oil isn't overbearing nor heavy but present in the scent. Honestly if you already own other products like this from other brands these probably won't be such a wow factor and most likely be thrown in the drawer after a couple uses. If you're new to the lip paint's then these are perfect place to start if you're on a budget.

Freedom Pro is the new makeup collection from Adam Minto who is the creator behind Makeup Revolution another purse friendly and good produced brand. Launched in June 2015 I decided to grab a few bits. Some of my favourite budget lip products from last year have come from Makeup Revolution so I have the same hopes for Freedom Pro. Freedom Pro Melts in Melts Up,  Just Do It and Melts D-Ream. Out of the 3 the one that disappointed me the most was Just Do It. I wanted this shade terribly and for it to work but it didn't work out for me. It's an indigo The colour drags from sheer to a goop of blue. It doesn't spread as well as the other colours, leaving me to wonder, did I get a bad batch or is the blue just that damn bad? Even with the swatching I had to go over it a few times and really swipe around the tube to try grab a good amount of colour and build on it, it just doesn't grab to the sponge tip applicator. It's stickier than the other two..it's just a dud! D-Ream is described as a nude brown, it reminds me of an 90s brown. Melts Up is a medium toned pink, which is very wearable, both of these are creamy and apply well with one swipe, removing these I noticed they left a stain.

The last item is the Freedom Pro Correct Palette, I have another corrector palette which is more high end and I love it. Sometimes you can get lucky and find alternatives that don't cost as much and I'm hoping this might be one. There are 6 colours.
Freedom Pro says:
Yellow: Use to equalise blue undertones, sometimes found on the eyelid or under eye area.
Lilac: Use to add radiance to dull skin.
Green: Use to balance redness, mainly found around the nose or around blemishes.
Peach: This peachy shade is great at helping cancel out green tones.
Brown: Use to conceal blemishes on darker skin tones or as a contouring cream on lighter skin.
White: Use to brighten or to highlight key areas of your skin such as the top of your cheekbones.

I can't speak on it too much as I've not used it but I definitely will be doing so and giving it a separate review as I think this needs one. My initial impression on the palette is you get 6 grams worth of product, white isn't a colour I normally see in corrector palettes, the white can be used to brighten areas, brighten areas that have been concealed that's too dark and used to highlight as a reflector. The peach in this palette, it's very pink on appearance but I can't say much else until it's tried and tested!

Let me know your thoughts on the products, have you tried any of these brands or items?

I think it's a great way to get American brands in the UK. I'm praying they can get Colour Pop as a new addition.

Really pretty lip colours and the Freedom Palette looks cool. I've been meaning to pick up the baked blush in Rose D'oro for a while. It looks gorgeous in Luminoso x
