Since my other foundation is now running out I decided to really test out this Eve Lom Radiance Lift Foundation, now my issue with getting foundations / concealers online is, I haven't a clue what's going to really suit my skin tone and I've caught a subtle bit of colour on my skin, it's even more of a nightmare. I tend to have to mix and match my foundation to get something that's perfect so I was apprehensive but decided to go for (no.14) Blush which is a medium-dark beige with neutral undertones. It gives me a nice, even matte finish, doesn't feel heavy and I found it was nice to build upon when needed. My skin felt more refreshed & awake after using this. My skin this week is taking a beating and is generally feeling fed up, so it's nice to see that in person and in photos this foundation works beautifully, especially that there's an SPF 15, I've not experienced any terrifying flashback that can occur with SPF products. This contains potent plant extracts alongside Rose Flower Wax, Vitamins C & E that'll help lift, firm and repair the skin elasticity while hydrating the skin way below the surface.
Currently there's only 15 shades available and the next one up from Blush is Sienna, hopefully Eve Lom will develop this for darker complexions.
Price wise it's up there, at £50 per bottle, it's very high end. A foundation that is being used for special occasions, nothing worse than running through an expensive product on a regular basis. It'll be hard to part with £50 for a foundation but I do really like it.
So what look do I do with a matte base, well 60's came to mind and after seeing Madam Cut Crease so much, she's a slight inspiration ha! I was unsure whether to pair with a red lip but I thought, heck no, let's do a peachy - coral tone.
