SUSINUM Luxuriant Hair Oil

AD - Gifted
I have always expressed my love for oils, skin & haircare. The last few weeks I’ve been using this oil and also because my hair is also colour treated, I am pickier with my hair products as I need to preserve my colour for as long as possible. Now I’d never come across this company before named ‘Haer’ but when I was offered the chance to trial this hair oil, I couldn’t say no. The company is clean beauty – ethical, cruelty free, vegan and GMO free.

They claim that this is a lightweight styling and treatment oil that is non-greasy with quick absorption and leaves no oily residue. The ingredients alone are an interesting combination such as Egyptian Blue Lotus extract – which helps to condition by increasing the natural shine of damaged hair, increase volume and elasticity of brittle hair & the ingredient is quite high up in the list, so it’s pretty much potent of this ingredient. Other ingredients are Squalane, Moringa, Frankincense, Myrrh, Black Cumin, Pomegranate, Watermelon, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cedarwood, Vetiver, Geranium Bourbon, Ylang Ylang and Hazelnut. Wooo! I mean, talk about jam packed of so much goodness for your hair.

The smell at first, I have to admit, I wasn’t keen on but once in the hair and it absorbs, it reminds me of perfume how it travels through all the notes and it’s not that noticeable.

The dropper tool makes it very easy to use and apply. What I do is, I use some of the dropper to grease my scalp as when I do straighten my hair, I want to keep my scalp moisturised – we don’t do any flakes and dryness around here. Then I put some into the palm of my hand, rub it in and apply from mid lengths to the ends and – beautiful – it’s certainly an oil to be desired.

  1. I have never used an oil before but I think my hair could really do with it. I am growing it for my wedding but with a lack of hair care thanks to the hairdressers being closed, I think this could really help x

  2. Sounds like a great hair oil to use, especially since it is non-greasy and it is interesting about the smell how it changes after you have used it.

  3. I have dry frizzy hair and I often use hair oils to keep it in condition, I will keep a look out for this one.

I do like a nice scent, but it can't be heavy ad hanging. This sounds like its scent is pleasant and would be great in spring or summer.

  5. It is always nice to use a good quality oil like this on hair, as it gives such a silky and well conditioned look to the finished result x

  6. Great news that you've found an oil that works for your hair! I don't tend to use hair oils as my scalp is in good condition and my hair just drinks up oil x

  8. This sounds like a great oil although it sounds like the smell at first could be much better! I haven't tried a hair oil in quite some time.
