The Inkey List Review.

Is this brand going to be The Ordinary’s rival?

It was bound to happen sooner or later, but just because there’s competition, it doesn’t mean it’s always going to win? The INKEY List, is the new kid on the block and I decided to try cos what's the harm? -apart from f-d up skin.

Individually these items are all under £10 each.

It's going to be hard to not compare to the beloved Ordinary brand. The % are higher within The Inkey List, when I began using these acids, I could actually feel the tingling sensation & that's something I've not felt in a while with my other acids but that's not to say it's not been working with other brands, my skin was probably used to them. Not all of these are to be used together as they'll make them less effective or could over exfoliate the skin which we are not looking to do.
I have two exfoliating serums lactic acid, alpha hydroxy acid & an exfoliating toner Gylcolic acid. This means I'll only use one in my routine, I use the toner or serums at night but I always go by what I feel my skin needs and which one will be more beneficial.

Vitamin C, sometimes I stay away from the creams because of the gritty texture unlike this one it's not as gritty as others, it can be used day & night. Turmeric, this one I was instantly drawn to as a product I used previously which has since been discontinued had turmeric in the ingredients and for me, turmeric is life for helping dark spots & brightening the skin.

Their website provides you with a list on how to use the products, when and what not to use them with but it also has a drop down that lets you target your skin type so you get the ideal products. It's very helpful. Honestly I'm quite satisfied with the items, if the brand keeps up the effectiveness & price point, it'll be a cult brand before long.
