Should always keep my nails polished for work, some weeks it doesn’t happen as I just like to give my nails some breathing time but I do enjoy more ‘nude’ shades as they just look clean but don’t get me wrong it’s not to say I don’t like the odd colour now & again. Earlier this year CND released their Nude Collection 2018, it’s a skin-toned collection that has undertones of pinks, yellows and stone greys that gives a perfect shade that enhances the skin tone.
I was sent a couple from the collection but unfortunately one smashed, had a pink undertone – looked gorgeous and I was pretty gutted that it smashed (the other bottle has dried nail polish from the break in the bag), the other was Unearthed – a stone-toned nude with realms of taupe aka a warm tone brown in simple terms. CND Vinylux gives 7 day chip resistant wear with a beautiful shine.
It’s not normally a shade I would be drawn towards, as I prefer pink or beige based nudes rather than a greyish brown but it’s one that grew on me. These polishes in general are amazing, the dry time is quick and when I have to apply the top coat, it’s never too quick that I apply it, there’s no bubbles or streaking. The top coat is the witchery it gives the shine and keeps it from chipping. I’ve definitely put CND up there next to another brand that I adore.
