Feather & Down are a company who specialise in products that help you sleep better with a range of items from body oils, candles, pillow spray, bath & shower creme's. Being kind enough to let me try their brand I was sent their Feather & Down Sweet Dreams pillow spray & Feather & Down Sweet Dreams Bath Essence.
Feather & Down Sweet Dreams Bath Essence (500ml £7.00)
I don’t care how cold, warm or hot the weather is, sometimes it doesn’t beat having a bath. There’s that opportunity to just lay back & relax (& I can exfoliate a lot better), pouring this as the hot water is running and quickly smelling that calming essence, there’s a nice amount of bubbles that are created with the combination of Lavender and Chamomile aromas, it really is relaxing. It’s not too strong scent wise. It helps to clear my head, allowing me to relax. What I also like about this bath essence, it doesn’t dry out my skin which is a reason I turned away from a lot of bubble baths, they were very drying – and I don’t even have dry skin but this one it’s free from; parabens, sulphates & mineral oils. Definitely will be one I’ll keep especially as the nights begin to draw in earlier.
Feather & Down Sleep Fact: If you raise your temperature a degree or two with a bath, the cooling process at bedtime is likely to help you fall asleep faster.
Feather & Down Sweet Dreams Pillow Spray (100ml £7.00)
I prefer to spray this before I go into the bath, giving it time to settle onto the pillow fabric, so by the time I’ve had my bath or shower, oiled my skin & done my night skincare routine, that aroma is locked into the pillow. Just like the bath essence it has an infusion of lavender and chamomile essential oils, this helps to reduce any anxiety and help aid a restful night’s sleep. The first night I tried this combination, I was asleep within 15 minutes and slept all through the night, didn’t wake once. Very unusual for me. I’ve used it nightly since and been happy with how much this helps me ease off into a peaceful slumber.
Feather & Down Sleep Fact: Research shows that lavender increases the type of brain waves associated with relaxation.
