Riad of Aromas Review + More

The end of last year and start of January I was doing some trial and error aka trying and testing some products.  Skincare needed to adjust in Winter, body scrubs are a addiction and smells are a necessity.

I've been trialling new skincare by a brand who contacted me, Riad of Aromas. My skin went from combination normal & oily to combination dry & oily to just dry. Thanks, confused winter. I was sent their rebalancing products Grapeseed & Ylang Ylang Rebalancing Face Cream* & Melissa & Rose Geranium Rebalancing Bio Mist Toner*, for combination, oily, combination- sensitive skin types. The cream has a medium texture so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it also seeps into the skin nicely leaving the skin feeling smooth & soothed. The grapeseed oil helps to regulate the skins natural oil. The toner mist can be used after cleansing, after a workout or long flight. Spray over the skin from an arm length and allow to naturally dry. Once it's sprayed it feels more hydrated, also noticed when it dries the skin feels semi-matte but not in a dry way. It gives a nice balance between the oily and dry combination moments my skin has.

I purchased this Boots Extracts Mango Sugar Scrub, in December, I've just over 1/4 left in the tub. Of course it smells lush, mangolicious. I use this before I'm about to shave for my laser hair removal as it's gentle and it gives a moisturising film over the leg. It might not feel good for some but I like it for what I use it for.
Warning :- yes, it contains mineral oil and make sure you clean the bath properly after use. It gets slippy!

Hearing about Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter, I decided to give it a try, I liked the Nivea in shower moisturiser and the premise is the same. Work a small amount into your hands with water and lather up on the skin. I find it to be more rich than the Nivea brand and I like that. The smell of pistachio makes me hungry but addicted to use more. I still have to moisturise after a cleanse regardless, especially more now that my skin's become very sensitive. I would buy it again but I wouldn't die without it. Possibly because I've still got to do the next step of creaming all over my bodaaaay.

Developing a new routine, I've began Ashtanga Yoga to start the day and to relax even more I roll this Aromatherapy Associates Instant Inner Strength* on my pulse points to have a scent that is calming as I'm moving.
