Lavender Smokey Eye Makeup
Another week, another look. Did I do one last week, don't think so. This wasn't planned because well my face isn't feeling it's best - a woman's burden as I call it has taken it's toll, I've been feeling quite bleh! My skin was showing it so what better way than to fake that good skin feeling with a brand new make-up tan!
I noticed that since I purchased Chinchilla by Lime Crime last year, I've not featured it in a make-up look. I've worn it out but haven't shared it with you until now! The horror.
Starting on a clean face I primed using Givenchy Mister Smooth Smoothing Primer* which I quite liked on first impression. It created a smooth canvas, I used a small amount on the key oily points and rubbed it in.
Givenchy Mister Radiant* & Barry M Flawless Matte Finsh Foundation these two I combined to give me that tanned look. The Mister Radiant is a gel and needs to be worked with quickly before it gets to that tacky dry. Honestly when it settled onto the skin with my foundation, I didn't have any dried patches or that sticky gel feeling. btw I applied these with my hands.
2 of my favourites. Pop the theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer on the high points, ran theBalm Betty-Lou Manizer around my face like a crazy lady.
Prime the lids with Urban Decay Primer Potion before taking a blending brush and applying MAC Cosmetics Beautiful Iris all over the lid, emphasising on the inner and outer corners. Taking NV Colour Lavender* and another blending brush I applied this to the centre of the lid. I then buffed out any transition that occurs between the last two in the crease. Taking Urban Decay Alien (Vice Palette) I put this through the crease, giving more colour to the inner corner than outer. Taking a thin angled brush I used MAC Cosmetics Nehru and gave a slight depth on the lash line and a slight wing and blended into the other shadows.
2 applications of the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara* before popping on the ESQIDO false lashes *.
Finish off with Lime Crime Chinchilla Lipstick.
