Roots Professional Imperium CBD Shampoo & Conditioner

UNPAID/SAMPLE/AD - GIFTED
It's funny that as we get older there are things that we take note of and other things we don't until it's brought to our attention. In a few months I turn 35, and while doing this post, I saw photos of myself from 2018 and my hair looked a lot more healthier, thicker and shinier.

Granted I was blonde for a few years and that will take its toll on the hair and honestly I've not been as regimented with my hair routine as I once was in the past year, and let's not even talk about the grey stands that are coming through quicker.

The past couple of months, I've been using Roots stimulating shampoo and conditioner, it's free from a lot of allergenic & negative preservatives such as gluten, parabens, sulphates and mineral oil to name a few.

CBD has clinically shown to help reduce inflammation, so it makes sense to include this in hair products, it'll also reduce stress related response in cells, promoting even stronger hair health. The shampoo I will use a scalp brush to stimulate and remove any build up on the scalp and promote blood flow to help the follicles and scalp, Roots, advise to leave the shampoo for 2 minutes before rinsing to allow the 16+ active ingredients to aid scalp recovery. Upon rinsing my hair doesn't feel stripped but I can notice that it is clean.

Using the conditioner in conjunction, colour safe and infused with CBD, too. Ideal for thinking hair, whether this is from breakage, heat or colour damage, distressed hair etc. Just like the shampoo, there are 16+ active ingredients such as Biotin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin B-6, Caffeine & Collagen, leave this on for 6 minutes to allow these to activate the hair roots, I'll pop on a shower cap for a little warmth and rinse out with cool warm water before popping on a microfiber turban to help soak up any excess water.

A good wash and products helps the hair to be styled and cared for easier. I've actually become quite fond of this duo for my hair, I've noticed that it's starting to gain more shine and while my hair is quite manageable, it's fine and can easily break. Hopefully by the time I'm finished the bottles I'll notice more difference in the strength of my hair.
