Being a natural skin brightener it can help reduce the appearance of scars, while helping the production of collagen leading to real good skin regeneration - goodbye dull skin.

Avocado Extract is an amazing fruit to have within your diet and skincare regimen. It helps protect against free radicals which can contribute to the environmental damage that happens to our skin, leading to fine lines, wrinkles and other visible signs of aging.  Also provides you with Vitamin C which is good to help the skin look bright and youthful as Vitamin C is needed for the creation of elastin and collagen which we need to keep our skin firm. Vitamin E, another skin antioxidant that helps fight (premature) aging, can also help reduce the effects of UVA & UVB radiation.

33rd / 34th Sweet Almond Oil & Extract.

Coconut Oil a natural antibacterial and antifungal ingredient it penetrates the skin better than other oils. The antibacterial property is the lauric acid within coconut oil – fact the only other natural substance high in lauric acid is in breast milk. Coconut oil can reduce facial wrinkles, premature aging, protection from the sun due to the natural SPF 4. Let’s face it Coconut oil has been talked about until the death and resurrection and death again about how great it is/

Sweet Almond Oil / Extract is a highly potent antioxidant vitamin and regular application of the oil can protect the skin from oxidative stress and UV radiation damage. Enriched with vitamins E, A, and B it seals in moisture into the skin and improves absorption. The vitamin E & fatty acids in this oil help to reverse and prevent signs of aging. It'll help the skins renewal and help against sagging, acne, psoriasis, and eczema prone skin.

You may notice castor oil within the ingredient list but it’s only PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil (It is also used to help other ingredients dissolve in a solvent in which they wouldn’t normally dissolve.)but it’s actually a petroleum based chemical, it’s natural in a way but not natural in the way we would identify it some sites say it's good but some say it's toxic but I’ve read not to use it on injured or damaged skin.

Nourishing Secrets Replenishing Ritual Body Lotion with Marula oil and Mango butter 400ml (Nourishing Secrets Replenishing Ritual Body cream with Marula oil and Mango butter 250ml

Within the 32 ingredient list, the key products are listed:-
18th Sunflower Seed Oil.
21st Mango Butter.
27th Marula Oil

Mango Butter is a skin softening, soothing and moisturising ingredient. While helping fight against dry skin, eczema and dermatitis. Protecting the skin from UV radiation. Rich vitamin C, vitamin A, antioxidants, which helps plump the skin & firm it.

Marula Oil increases the smoothness of skin. Antioxidants such as Vitamins C & E, helps renew cells and resisting damaging effects from the environment. Also is an advanced protection against photo-aging free radicals, builds collagen and provides antioxidant protection. Which means younger looking skin. It can help reduce redness and deeply hydrates. Heals, moisturises and improves skin elasticity.

I know why they do these oils and butters so far down on the list because they do have to make these products affordable, the fact they come in 400ml bottles and I know organic oils and butters are faaaar from cheap to even buy in small quantities for my backside let alone for mass production plus Dove you sure love Sunflower Seed Oil. It’s rich in rich in nutrients such as calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and vitamins A, K and E, used effectively against inflammation & general irritations of the skin. Vitamin E is an emollient that traps moisture and keeps skin hydrated along with the glycerin in these – you’re sure to keep moisturised. Vitamin A helps protection from sun damage and free radicals. The Omega-6 aka as linoleic acid is found within this oil and it helps with cell development, eczema, acne and scarring. Within all these lotions it does have Isomerized Linoleic Acid (which is an end product of linoleic acid. During the process one molecule is transformed into another molecule but they have exactly the same atoms but a different arrangement) it’s a thickening agent and emollient.

Reading the ingredients for these, Glycerin is the second ingredient meaning that it’s a product that is going to draw moisture towards your skin keeping it moisturised for longer. But it also contains parabens, carbomer and lactic acid (which I’ve always read to have a carbomer free lotion to mix lactic acid into otherwise it breaks it down but maybe with all the added preservatives it may prevent it – hey I don’t know, it’s not a watery product so probably works) which is amazing to keep the skin smooth by increasing the skin cell turnover and keeping us hair removal addicts, free of ‘strawberry legs’ if those are a concern.
