Since the 2002 launch of Glow, I've had nearly all of the JLo fragrances Glow being the first, that holds a special place in my heart. Rio Glow comes second.
It's been a few years since I received a JLo fragrance, with this one being the most recent its one gift I received for Christmas. It was a blind ask as there have not been many of her scents that I've disliked. Packaged in a set with a miniature and bag, was this going to be a pro or con choice?
BTW this fragrance is vegan!!
The first impression, the packaging is similar to the fragrance Promise, which has a lot of positive reviews. From 2015, there hasn't been much of the JLo name on the perfumes but Jennifer Lopez, probably to become more in line with the Jennifer Lopez Beauty brand.
Top notes: Pink Peppercorn, Freesia, Peach Blossom Heart notes: Jasmine Absolut, Cedarwood Oil, Clearwood, Prisma Base notes: Sandalwood, Moss Crystal, Suede.
A woody, floral, it's not a young scent, you will find more of a fresh, green scent, as that oakmoss note is very prominent. With more feminine notes in the mix, pink pepper, jasmine and freesia but they don't stay present as much as the oakmoss but you do get a hint of suede, which I feel won't be for everyone as it might give remanence of 'new shoes'. It works well with my body temperature and pH. I'd more recommend it for autumn/winter due to the notes. Being an EDP, I wouldn't say it lasts as long as I'd like, maybe 4-5hrs the sillage is good, I'd say 5-6 sprays should get you covered for the duration.
