Nicka K Colorluxe Powder Blush & Other Peaches

Nicka K Colorluxe Powder Blush in Peach this blusher is different in design to others I've seen. On top of the lid, there's a handy mirror, also a a puff applicator attached to the loose powder pot. To start the 'activation' of the blusher through the puff, I pressed it on my hand a few times just to be sure that I don't get an overload on the cheeks. The peach is soft, the puff allows more for a sweep application on the cheeks, you can build up the tone to get your desired coverage. I still need to go over with a brush just to get more of a blended colour. I'm quite unsure how this sponge would be cleaned(?) after all the build up of the blush and skin contact, it's something you'd want to clean for hygienic purposes. Peach can be a nice starter shade for most, as it's subtle and can suit most skin tones.
Revlon seem to be a good brand for peach toned items. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter - Peach Parfait & Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick - Smoked Peach. The lip butters give a sheer finish, they go on smooth and provide moisture, the colour I find can be buildable but these lip butters to me are a balancing act to enhance your natural lips. This one is a little on the glitter side so it can feel a tiny bit gritty as you may rub your lips together but it's not that bothersome for me. The latter smoked peach is almost a nude but has a dark tone to it. Gives a nice effortless appeal. This is a very popular shade & I can see why. Of course not as moisturising as the lip butter but most matte lipsticks rarely are. Although I find it's not a 'dragging' matte lipstick. It doesn't dry out my lips nor does it give it moisture. The staying power isn't bad, I do think sometimes it can be done to lipstick application. If planning to wear this make sure lips are exfoliated. Put a lip balm on while applying your make-up so by the time you get to your lips, their hydrated. I have to admit it's weird wearing just lipsticks again after living in lip stains / lip creams it's a nice change.
