Nailed London with Rosie Fortescue

Rosie Fortescue from Made in Chelsea released her gel nail polish line 'Nailed London' this year. Within the range you get 28 shades which are the heart and soul of the triple-layer system, delivering high fashion colours formulated with innovative technology. 4 glitter effect polishes designed to sprinkle sparkle over any shade - a great way to customise your look. 1 base coat to protect and brighten the nails, providing a combination layer with properties that adhere to the nail and act as a colour magnet. 1 glossy top coat completing the self-cured, gel-like manicure and delivering an enviable wet-look finish.

This 3 steps gel polish claims it'll give you 2-3 days more than any other gelled product on the market. What makes it so innovative is the technology. The exclusive Dual Polymer Technology delivers a long-lasting, high shine finish. The Volcanic Glass provides strength during application while the shellac helps to protect the nails and a plant-derived, patented Plasticizer provides flexibility to lacquer.

I had the opportunity to review a couple of the colours Rosie's Red & Noodle Nude alongside the base & top coat.
Noodle Nude is quite a warm nude, one that Rosie thinks is a great colour for shorter nails and I agree most nudes and blush colours are good for shorter nails. Rosie's Red is a classic red, whenever I see red nails or lips, I just think glamour. It's rich in pigmentation and gives an overall polished look.

The base coat goes on smoothly and dries pretty fast ready for the application of your chosen gel nail wear. I only needed two coats of both polishes for it to be covered and even. The top coat I've found for myself one coat is best as anymore gel and it gets too 3D. With the red nearly dry the pigmentation of the red still managed to get onto the top coat brush and disperse into the bottle. Minor detail, it always happens with my reds and top coats. I found the couple of times I have worn this I get about 4-5 days before chipping starts to occur. I like the jelly feeling finish on this collection and the gloss, which upholds as long as you're wearing it.

I'd certainly give this brand a second look, especially to see what the other colours are like & once I've minimized my nail polish collection some more.

The line is priced between £7 - £8.
