GOSH Smokey Eye

I haven't really done a smokey eye since well, dark spell. So it's been quite a while but it was a trend at a time to wear the smokey eye paired with a nude lipstick. I decided it was time for me to do that again and revisit the basics.

The other most important part of this look is of course, the smudged lower liner. I used the GOSH smokey eyeliner* £5.99 that is a dual pencil, pencil one end and smudger on the other end. Honestly, I hardly use the smudge ends of these pencils as I tend to just smudge liners out with a brush and prefer it that way but I did test how it felt and it's a lot softer than other dual smudged liner sponges that I've encountered.
The formula itself is pigmented, creamy and smudges nicely. I didn't find it smudged any further down my face, maybe because I went over it with a black eyeshadow. It's cheaper than my other favourite liner that has a nice creamy consistency so it could be one, that's here for keeps.

On the lids, I used NARS Night Flight (e/s) with Urban Decay - Zero (e/s) in the outer corner, lips, Revolution MakeUP, Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer - More Than I Could Give (love these)

Do you love a good old smokey eye and nude lip?
