GlossyBox - September Maggie Li & October 2012

september glossybox

I didn't post last months GlossyBox which was a special edition Maggie Li box. The design strayed away from the usual GlossyBox and the only thing I could really rave about was the box. That's due to inpart of when I received my first box the outer packaging came ripped open and repackaged with parcel tape! The box had obviously been tampered with and items missing. This isn't of course Glossybox's fault and they did respond to me quickly and sent me out a replacement box :

Meh, I don't use Olay products. Balance Me - eye cream. My last eye cream in the box that was mostly half used up but I can't say I've used this one cos I'm already testing an eye cream but I do like the fact it's 99% natural origin.

Rodial products interest me, Grace from all that slap likes her Rodial products and since seeing them more I've been getting more and more intrigued ( think it's cos I want to try their pigmentation range. Have you tried anything from Rodial?

The Lady GaGa perfume surprisingly does smell quite nice, I remember reading when she said she had notes of blood & semen within the smell, you start to think um okay GaGa, what's next, you going to be dropping your toe nail clippings into the mix. Yet I'm sure it didn't hurt sales and it honestly doesn't smell bad.

L'Oreal Professional Mythic Oil they say this is good for colour enhanced hair. Making it manageable and soft! At this current time I'm using products to save my hair and of course we know I'm doing the whole wig gig now...

Maybe I wasn't giddy about this box cos it seemed full of sachets besides the mystic oil and I know it was a replacement box but it really was meh!

This box was a bit better than last month replacement or not.

I say a bit better as I've wanted to try anatomicals but never known what to try first within the range so now having this body scrub gives me a chance to delve in. The scent of this is pink grapefruit so if this goes down a treat, I've found a new body scrub! Original product : £3.49 / 200ml

Besides a few nail treatments and one other colour I've never tried any other Sally Hansen nail polish range. I seem to be collecting a lot of black / gunmetal shades in the last month. Yet until my nails grow back - no nail polish try outs for me. I don't hear that much negative things regarding the Sally Hansen range and I have quite liked the few items I've got previously. Original product : £6.99 /14.7ml

Skinetica Anti-Blemish, apparently in 2-3 days you start to see results with this. Never heard of this brand if I'm honest but I will put this aside for an abrupt break out and put this bad boy to the test. It says it's kind to skin and there's no side effects. skinetica.co.uk Original product : £6.99 / 100ml

Green People - Organic Self Tan while being involved in #TFWOC I think I can speak for us all, we are tanned out. This one tells me that I can achieve a healthy, natural-looking tan without it being non-greasy and there is non of that biscuit smell. Ugh the biscuit tan smell *gags* Expect a bonus tan review from me. Original product :  £18.95 / 200ml

Yves Rocher France - ah another company who jumped into the Chinese market ( I'm seriously losing most of my stash thanks to this bloody Chinese market ) This instant anti-wrinkle moisturiser says it provides deep and lasting moisture and immediately smoothes wrinkles. * goes to test this theory* I did try this on my Nan but she's wrinkle free, tried it on some smile lines but didn't see nothing instant or anything at all! She kept telling me she just looked the same womp womp womp Original product : £18 / 30ml

- Sally Hansen nail polish was the only full sized product in this months box.

I'm starting to get a little envious of the US Glossybox they seem to get such good picks from what I've seen. October marks a year since I got my first Glossybox and I've not had a handful of boxes that I could say left me excited!

so my question to you is :
is glossybox for you?
